Want to help? Because of the economy it’s difficult to make our money last through the end of the month. That’s true among our members and folk in the community around us. One of our Leadership Ministry Team members suggested that we ask the congregation to help by donating ‘Target Gift Cards. They are good for groceries and household needs. We are suggesting cards of at least $25.
The Outreach Team will simply track the number of cards received and given away. Please mark the card with the amount on the card. You can give the cards to Pastors Anne or Chuck. Thanks for your generosity!
Simpson Shelter ~ House of Prayer serves the homeless on the second Tuesday of every month. The time commitment is about 3.5 hours. If you would like to be a part of this outreach ministry, contact Karen Steenson.

Heritage Team Remembers:
The Heritage Team Calls for Photographs! Pastor Chuck Carlson was installed at House of Prayer November 10, 1985. During his 26 years with us, Pastor Chuck has probably had his picture taken more times by more people than any other pastor. The Heritage Team is coordinating a file to record and preserve photographs of Pastor Chuck, and we request your help in locating as many pictures that include him as possible before he leaves us.
Do you possibly have pictures of Pastor Chuck that you would be willing to share with us — we can scan them and return them to you — for this project? Please contact Darlene Clauson, email email@example.com, or leave photographs in the Heritage Team mail slot in the church office if you can assist.
The Heritage Team invites you to check out the new Communications display featuring Hi-Lines through the years and various publications published by House of Prayer. Thanks again to Ruth Nordholm for her artistic talents so generously given.
